1. Project Overview & Technical Specifications

To support high-frequency SAW filter and microelectronic assembly, Farclean provided an end-to-end modular cleanroom enclosure system designed to meet strict contamination control and electrostatic discharge (ESD) standards:

Project Parameter Technical Specification / Scope
Industry Sector Semiconductor & Microelectronics (Frequency Components & SAW Filters)
Project Location Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Laguna Technopark, Biñan, Philippines
Cleanroom Classification ISO Class 5 (Class 100) to ISO Class 7 (Class 10,000)
Enclosure Systems Supplied Anti-Static Rockwool Sandwich Panels, Flush Steel Cleanroom Doors, Double-Glazed Windows
Execution & Delivery Window September 2025 – February 2026 (5 Months)
Key Compliance Standards ESD Anti-Static Coating, FM Fire-Rated Structural Integrity, CE Certified

*Note: All modular enclosure components were pre-engineered at Farclean’s automated manufacturing base and shipped in sea-freight wooden crates for rapid field assembly.

2. Project Challenges & Custom Engineering Solutions

  • Strict Contamination & ESD Control: Semiconductor wafer processing requires zero airborne dust and permanent static dissipation. Farclean engineered high-density rockwool panels featuring a specialized ESD-resistant coating to mitigate electrostatic discharge risks.
  • Airtight Pressure Differential Management: To maintain positive pressure cascades across clean zones, we supplied custom steel cleanroom doors equipped with heavy-duty drop-down bottom seals, air-tight rubber gaskets, and integrated door interlock logic.
  • Flush Architectural Integration: All double-glazed tempered glass windows sit completely flush with the modular wall panels, featuring built-in desiccants to prevent fogging and eliminating ledges for effortless sterilization.
  • Seamless Overseas Execution: To support a tight 5-month timeline, full 3D CAD modeling and pre-assembly checks were conducted prior to export. Detailed BIM node drawings and installation SOPs enabled smooth local assembly in Laguna.

3. Project Results & Client Benefits

The completed facility successfully passed all airborne particle counts, pressure retention, and static dissipation tests on the first attempt:

  • Zero Damage Cargo Handling: 100% of panels and doors arrived at the Laguna Technopark site in flawless condition via reinforced export wooden packaging.
  • On-Time Production Line Activation: Completed within the 5-month window, allowing the client to ramp up overseas semiconductor manufacturing on schedule.
  • Long-Term Energy Optimization: High thermal insulation and ultra-low air leakage rates significantly reduced HVAC power consumption for the facility.
